In Business Thursday's June event we’ve invited business professionals from different disciplines to present their perspective on the topic “Smart Moves!”

Peter Roberts, Partner, Achieving the Difference, presents a shortlist of ‘smart moves’- from a branding perspective.

John Caines, Chair of South West Angel and Investment Network,shares some of the ‘smart moves’ that attract investors – from an innovation perspective.

Andrew Woolley, Solicitor Consultant to Cousins Business Law, peeks under the bonnet at some legal ‘smart moves’ – from an intellectualproperty perspective

The event starts at 16:15 (for 16.30 start) and is due to finish at 19:00.

We are calling them Business Thursdays and, as with their Smart Thursday predecessor, we are inviting speakers to address a topical brief from their own professional perspective. The first next two have been planned and will cover the topics:

Achieving fame and fortune
Smart moves (early technology adoption)

Building on the success of the Smart Thursday Business Link high growth networking and learning group, we felt that with demand for more meetings and organisational improvements Simon Dye at Chartered Institute of Marketing came up with the idea of Business Thursday and will manage the website and marketing, the University of Gloucestershire will provide support via GEN and will provide the venue, Howard Davis of Price Davis are our sponsoring bookkeepers and Michael Howes of Pilot Cottage is taking care of the event management and content.
